you are right (at this time) about loading time. we are experience some problems with our servers. but soon we are going to be just fine.

regarding greek as primary language of the website, all i can say is that icars.com.cy is for the cypriot market and since greek is the official language, we had to adapt. it is just a fact.

about the cookies. it seems that you are not really aware of their use. cookies can not gather information on their own. and cookies do not collect personal information about visitors from their computer. in many situations, using cookies is the most efficient method of remembering and tracking preferences, purchases, commissions, and other information required for better visitor experience or site statistics.

our statistics prove you wrong regarding domination of the area and, you might want to check again our positioning.

we are not trying. we are doing it. have a nice weekend :)

"...and will be outrageous" - well, the only outrageous thing about the site is the fact that it takes more than 10 whole minutes to load the default page on broadband in Cyprus!

"...it might scary our competitors" - i hardly think so, unless you have a reserve of potential customers who are happy to sit twiddling their thumbs waiting for the site to load in the first place.

AND the site loads in Greek! even the most unscientific research would have revealed to you that the primary user group most likely to turn to online facilities for buying and selling cars are English-speakers in Cyprus. So then the user has to wait a whole 10 minutes more to reload the site in English.

And then there are the 10 cookies that Braincache stuffed into my browser while I was viewing icars.com.cy. Aren't you aware of privacy issues and rights? Don't you even follow the IT news and have you not heard the privacy difficulties major players like Google have gotten into as a result of their overuse of cookies?

"...we are trying to dominate this area" - well, you have a long way to go, and even further to go in the web development field.

Try again.
